They are really useful in relieving minor pain coming from physical injuries and sometimes insect bites. There are also pre-made hot compress fabrics that you can buy at a local store or you can just make a DIY version of a hot compress unit. You can use old clothes or Ziploc bags.^

I still tear up when I think of it.

I had my doula certification 8 years ago…but life got crazy and it’s lapsed now…but that was a beautiful time in our life for sure!
I’ll see if I can send over a birth story or two..
the cliff notes would be 2 c-sects
1 unattended home birth (v-bac yay!!)
1 midwife attended
1 midwife attended water birth
1 unattended water birth :) (super quick labors…the midwives try bless their heart…they really do try to make it! :) lol
